Er war ein Pionier bei der Einfuhr hochwertiger arabischer Baumwolle, die in Manchester verarbeitet und im gesamten britischen K\u00f6nigreich vertrieben wurde.<br \/>\nMit Niederlassungen und Handelspartnern im gesamten Nahen Osten, in Europa und Afrika hatte unser Unternehmen einen unglaublichen Einblick in die Bed\u00fcrfnisse der sich schnell entwickelnden M\u00e4rkte.  Im Laufe der Zeit haben wir unsere Aktivit\u00e4ten erweitert, um den wachsenden Anforderungen unserer Partner gerecht zu werden, von Transport und Vertrieb bis hin zu Finanzdienstleistungen.<br \/>\n1959 hatte sich die RLG als bedeutendes britisches Textilhandelsunternehmen etabliert und war bereit, neue unternehmerische Vorhaben in Angriff zu nehmen. Der bemerkenswerteste Erfolg in der ausl\u00e4ndischen Industrie war unsere aufregende Partnerschaft mit Nissan Motors und Datsun, die uns die Lizenz f\u00fcr den Vertrieb ihrer aufstrebenden Kraftfahrzeuge in ganz Westafrika anvertrauten. Diese Partnerschaft war ein Wendepunkt in unserer Geschichte, da wir bald zu den Top 3 der Nissan-Vertriebsh\u00e4ndler weltweit geh\u00f6rten. Dies erm\u00f6glichte es uns, unsere Handelsaktivit\u00e4ten weltweit auszuweiten. Ausgehend von unseren Erfolgen im Textil- und Automobilbereich gr\u00fcndeten wir einen zweiten Hauptsitz in Lagos, Nigeria. Dort bauten wir erfolgreiche Unternehmen zur Herstellung von M\u00f6beln, Kunststoffen, Metallprodukten und Erfrischungsgetr\u00e4nken auf. Zu unserem globalen Unternehmen geh\u00f6rten bald unterschiedliche Firmen wie eine Fischereiflotte, ein Taxi-Unternehmen, zwei Logistikunternehmen und die F\u00f6rderung von Edelmetallen.<br \/>\nAb 1966 f\u00fchrte der wachsende Bedarf unseres Unternehmens an B\u00fcro- und Industriefl\u00e4chen dazu, dass wir in das Immobiliengesch\u00e4ft einstiegen. Zun\u00e4chst bauten wir Immobilien f\u00fcr unser Eigenbedarf, dann f\u00fcr die Vermietung an andere. Obwohl wir erst sp\u00e4t in diese Branche eingestiegen sind, wurde sie zu einem unserer Hauptgesch\u00e4ftsfelder.<br \/>\nIm Jahr 1976 dehnte die Gruppe ihre Aktivit\u00e4ten auf die Vereinigten Staaten aus und t\u00e4tigte strategische Investitionen in wichtigen Bereichen wie Immobilien, Finanz- und Risikokapitalinvestitionen, Bauwesen, Landwirtschaft und Bankwesen. Wir errichteten unseren dritten Hauptsitz in Houston, TX, und konnten den texanischen \u00d6lboom begleiten. Unsere Western Bancorporation diente der Gemeinde Houston und wurde zu einer der Top-5-Banken im Grossraum Houston.<\/p>\n<p>Seitdem ist die RLG in einer Vielzahl von Bereichen t\u00e4tig, die von Videospielen und Weing\u00fctern bis hin zum Schiffbau und der chemischen Industrie reichen. Im Laufe der Jahre war die Gruppe in \u00fcber 30 L\u00e4ndern und auf allen Kontinenten t\u00e4tig und besch\u00e4ftigte zeitweise \u00fcber 6.000 Mitarbeiter. Unser internationaler Hauptsitz ist im F\u00fcrstentum Monaco angesiedelt, w\u00e4hrend wir regionale Zentren in Las Vegas, London, Z\u00fcrich und Beirut
